David Austin (chair)
David Austin is Professor of Mathematics at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. He is the author of an open linear algebra textbook and of PreFigure, software for creating accessible mathematical diagrams. He received his Ph.D. in 1989 from the University of Utah.
Kent E. Morrison
Kent Morrison is a visiting researcher at AIM and chair of the AIM Editorial Board from its start in 2010 to 2022. Now an emeritus professor, he taught for more than 30 years at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and was department chair for 9 years. His research interests include combinatorics and game theory. He received his Ph.D. in 1977 from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
Vic Reiner
Vic Reiner is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota. His research interests are in combinatorics and its relations to other areas, such as algebra, topology and geometry. He received his Ph.D. in 1990 from MIT.
Christina Safranski
Chrissy Safranski is Professor of Mathematics at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio. She is interested in the scholarship of teaching and learning and also in math outreach. She received her Ph.D. in 2009 from the University of Notre Dame.
Katherine Yoshiwara
Katherine Yoshiwara is Professor Emerita of Mathematics at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, California. She is the author or co-author of several mathematics textbooks and has won teaching awards from the MAA and AMATYC. As an undergraduate she studied Greek and mathematics and received an M.A. in mathematics in 1977 from UCLA.
